Artists Illuminating Text: Drisha Arts Fellows Perform and Present Their Work

The Drisha Arts Fellows (including our own staff member Nicole Fix!) are professional women artists who have been studying classic Jewish texts at the Drisha Institute for Jewish Education. The musicians, dancers, actors, and singers will present engaging original performances, and creative writers will read brief, dazzling pieces. The event will last an hour. The work of the accomplished visual artists will be shown in the gallery.Musicians, performers, dancers, singers, and writers present original work, some of which is based on aggadot in Tractate Taanit, which the artists have been learning together all year. The work of Drisha’s visual artists will be on display at the receptions before and after the event.
Hors d’œuvres will be served at a reception before and after the event in the gallery where the visual art will be on display.
