Moses on the Mesa

Los Angeles Six Points Fellow Paul Ratner is working on a project that will amaze you.  Moses on the Mesa: inspired by the improbable yet TRUE story of Solomon Bibo, a German immigrant who arrived in the American West in the late 1800s, and became governor of a Native American tribe.  The project consists of a short fiction film and a documentary series.  Ratner has been doing remarkable research ( Jewish communities in the Southwest have even asked to get access to his archives) and he’s sharing some of it with us now.  What appears below is taken from his most recent post at his Moses on the Mesa blog and its well worth checking out.
