“Numbered” U.S. premiere at Chicago International Film Festival
Numbered was warmly received at its US premiere at Chicago International Film Festival.
Founder and Artistic Director Michael Kutza introduced the film, programmed as part of the Festival’s World Cinema Spotlight on the Middle East.
Co-Director Uriel Sinai, as well as local Holocaust survivor Estelle Glaser Laughlin, took questions during post-screening discussion.
Those in attendance included FJC board member Charlotte Newberger and her husband Michael, Jeanne Malkin, former FJC board member and current President of Cinema/Chicago (the producing organization of the Festival), the Israeli Consul General of the Midwest Roey Gilad, American Academy in Jerusalem Program Director Lisa Press Field sister Erica Regunberg and FJC Program Director Andrew Ingall.
